Philosophy
When operating in an extremely professional and highly competitive market like the one of modern hair style, it is very important to have the right knowledge and to offer updated and innovative services according to the market's requirements and needs.
TECNA offers a programme of updated fashion styles at international level: new services, practical demonstrations, working techniques. Everything a hairdresser needs to offer always innovative solutions in the "salon of the new millenium".
This project consists of two educational meetings during one year and it is thought for salon owners and/or hairdressers who have already a great experience in "cut and colour".
A Team of experienced technicians of the famous "International Academy PIVOT POINT" will present a professional programme in order to improve the hairdresser's knowledge and to show new methods and styles.

WORKSHOP "MATERIALS"
The working Manikins furnished by PIVOT POINT are made of " 100% human hair"
This hair has been disinfected 4 times in order to protect against eventual microbes. Hair is treated with different chemical procedures as to permit perfect colouring and styling, maintaining natural elasticity and softness.
Scalp and skin are realized in a special PVC that maintains a high-quality level of natural softness and colour.
Hair is implanted “by hand”, (not mechanically), in circular sections departing from the upper head in the natural sense of growth.
The anterior part is implanted in a way to give hair the natural direction on the forehead allowing a normal hair-style.
The joinings are made like those on "real heads", in different sizes. Manikins have flexible ears.

In every box you will find a "quality control certificate" in order to guarantee that the manikins have been disinfected and that they are safe for manipulation.
Classes will be of 18/20 students per teacher. At the end of the course (or during some courses) students will receive the Book: "Design Forum" together with the * DVD, entirely realized in Italian. (*optional)
At the end of the courses, all students will receive a " certificate of participation".

The courses will take place near the City center in Rome. We planned two meetings in one year of 2 days each. Max. number of students: 20 per teacher.
